Cincinnati Chili Dip 4 Super Bowl Sunday

Hope your favorite team wins the Super Bowl tonite.  As 4 me, I’ll be watching but I’m not in it to WIN it, I’m just in it 4 the commercials!  This recipe is from my favorite recipe site, Epicurious and it was contributed by Dave Lapham of the Cincinnati Bengals.

You can make this dip ahead and warm it up just in time for the game.  Enjoy them both!

Cincinnati Chili Dip

15 ounces Cincinnati Chili
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup onions, diced plus more for serving
12 ounces mild cheddar cheese, shredded
lettuce, coarsely shredded
tomatoes, chopped
sour cream
Nacho or corn chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spread cream cheese evenly on bottom of 9×13 inch casserole dish.  Spread chili on top of cream cheese.  Sprinkle with diced onions, then shredded cheese.  Bake until cheese is completely melted, 10 to 15 minutes.  If desired, add additional onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.  Serve with Nacho or corn chips.
